Therapy for Local Christian Workers (and their families)
Introduction
Christian workers and their families experience the same difficulties as everyone else and need at least as much support.
We're all works in progress. But you're expected to have it all together now (and, possibly, at all hours of the day or night). It isn't reasonable, but it's common. Let's talk about your normal, everyday challenges and about the specific challenges of being a Christian worker or a family member of one.
- Each person's and each family's experience is unique. You won't have to convince me of the importance of not making assumptions.
- I've worked with others in Christian ministry. I have personal experience as a person in ministry and as a family member. You won't have to explain quite so much.
- Having served in different capacities, I carry within me an array of experiences and perspectives to help you to explore and navigate your current challenges.
- I've completed two seminary degree programs and experienced community life in a variety of church settings, denominations, cultural contexts, and global locations. Regardless of the Christian tradition that you come from or where you serve, my background is likely sufficient to help you to explore your particular circumstances, context, and relationships.
